Excellent vintage condition for this type of catalog!
This is the best condition I have ever seen for an actual used copy!
Upper outer corners of front and back cover are just slightly bent. There is mild age discoloration to the pages.The binding is still solid! There is some light to medium wear/dirt on the cover, mainly on the back. But again, this book is in amazing condition for being used!
Page edges also show little wear/dirt!
The only other flaw is that there is some writing on the cover and just inside on the 1st page. (see pic) In fact, it has my dad's signature! He used this book while working as a Linotype Machinist at the Champaign Urbana Courier Newspaper back in the day. (The current location of the Courier Cafe in downtown Urbana)
596 total pages with close to 1/2 of the pages being parts illustrations!
The catalog is considered a valuable resource for those interested in the history and mechanics of Intertype machines.
